Community Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an amazing community manager to become a subject matter expert on Gooey.AI and empower & support our community of 250,000 (and growing) users.


In this role, you will manage one-to-many conversations over email, the web, discord, including Q&A, official Gooey.AI announcements (e.g. https://gooey.ai/docs and https://gooey.ai/blog), threaded conversations during events, best practice resources, and product feedback. You’ll help build networks of users and developers, help them learn from each other, give valuable insights to the company, and so much more.


You will inform the Gooey.AI team and strategic management of community sentiment and needs, as well as streamline moderation to help all Gooey.AI users to be successful. You will work cross functionally to solicit feedback and drive internal participation on engagement ideas (like building and assessing an amazing Gooey.AI copilot to answer community questions).

Salary: Rs 75,000 / month

Requirements

  • Moderate, listen, and engage regularly with our community members directly in the discussions on technical Gooey.AI topics, providing them with guidance, support, and the resources they need; you’ll be the subject matter expert and a trusted presence for our users.

  • Utilize our dashboards and examples from discussions to gather feedback from our users and share those insights with the appropriate internal teams.

  • Escalate and flag issues as needed to keep the community discussions a trusted space.

  • Maintain and create documentation critical to the scaleable success of our work.

  • Author posts on trending topics, new releases, and notable content from your categories.

  • Execute on the community team platform strategy, roadmap, and success metrics. 

  • Report weekly on trending topics, monthly on larger goals, and maintain a “pulse” of the community. Contribute to semester planning, tracking, and individual and team goals. 

  • Partner with Developer Relations to:  

    • Work cross-functionally on community engagement strategies

    • Help plan and run online community events throughout the year

    • Measure, analyze, update and track community data

  • Demonstrate passion about being a community and customer advocate. 

    • You understand why customer voices are so important, and thrive in finding innovative ways to support them

  • Grow to be a curious problem-solver and teacher. 

    • You’ll be helping our users find solutions and solve problems that will have the potential to help exponentially more people… This should excite you!


Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience working with GenAI, TechArt, DevOps and/or Developer Platform like tools. 

  • 1 years experience in customer service, technical support, and online community management.

  • Ideally, experience using various dashboards like PowerBI and Tableau, to identify data driven solutions and opportunities for cross-company collaboration.


Preferred Qualifications

  • A curious, prolific, helpful and outgoing tech tinkerer. 

  • 2 years experience in online community management, working with various online community platforms and tools. If you haven't done this, we are unlikely to interview you.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate recommendations and solutions plainly with customers and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to develop and implement creative solutions and influence others in their adoption.

  • Strong project management skills including an ability to manage cross-functional deliverables in a fast-paced environment
