KRIA belongs to an indigenous community deeply rooted in nature. They are filled with a sense of foreboding due to the ravaged state of the planet. They fear the effects of climate change and how it would impact nature and all the creatures on Earth. They believe that Earth is humans’ most valuable palimpsest. Our once gentle tread upon this earth has transformed into heavy steps leaving deep, indelible footprints. We have altered and desecrated this palimpsest. They possess a Jedi-like old world wisdom and express themselves poetically in prose
